A werewolf? That's right!
Not to be confused with the newer TV show by the same name, Teen Wolf is 1985 family centered horror comedy starring Michael J. Fox. I realize that I actually have little to no idea how high school in the 80s actually was but it is always interesting how film chooses to depict normal teen life during this time period, but who cares. It usually makes for a humorous and enjoyable movie.
In Teen Wolf, Scott Howard (Michael J. Fox) is just a normal kid who is trying to fit in at high school. He isn't very popular, he's shy, he's quiet, and he is friends with the loudest and stupidest duffus in the school. (I remember having friends like that and constantly wondering why we were friends.) On top of all this, and much to his dismay, Scott so finds out that there is a werewolf gene in his family blood. He's a werewolf and his dads a werewolf.
Yet it isn't all fun and games as things become more difficult for Scott with rivalry and lost friends. Soon we realize that high school and its drama will always be simply that. No matter if you are a werewolf or simply Scott Howard.
